Stag parties and outdoor activities equals loads of fun. If you want something different for your stag party to do then why not try our outdoor activities. We operate in Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Forest of Dean the Wye Valley and Wales; offering rock climbing, abseiling, high ropes, caving, gorge walking and survival training, and if you want to be on the water then you can go canoeing or raft building. We can also arrange to bring our activities to you, so if you feel that outdoor activities will be too much after a heavy night, then your stag party can compete in our Team Challenge Event at the accommodation where you are staying. We offer discount rates for any stag party that books our outdoor activities and we can also recommend great accommodation in Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Wales that will cater for you in the luxury and style that you expect, including heated indoor swimming pools and very comfy beds. All our outdoor activities are run with very experienced qualified instructors who are particular chosen for having a good sense of humour and an understanding of what stag parties want from their outdoor activities. So if you fancy rock climbing, canoeing or raft building in the Forest of Dean, gorge walking in Wales and the Brecon Beacons or caving and survival training in the Wye Valley then give us a call. We can also tailor your stag weekend to suit you, so you can mix and match all our activities to get the best stag party adventure possible. So have a look at all the different outdoor activities that we offer, choose the ones that would suit your stag party then give us a call to sort it all out. If you still aren't sure what you want then contact me (Michael Downey) anytime and we can discuss the best options for you. And if outdoor activities seem too strenuous then we can run a "Team Challenge Event" where your stag party is split into teams with each team competing against each other by solving puzzles, problems and challenges. These can be anything from launching eggs as far as possible using some very basic equipment to being the fastest team to all squeeze a very dodgy sausage. So if you want a fantastic stag party with really exciting outdoor activities run by hugely experienced outdoor instructors with a sense of humour, then give us a call.
Our stag party activities can also be tailored to suit any type of group, so whether you are searching for an ice breaker so that everyone gets to know each other, something fun and exciting for a group of close friends to do, a watersports activity that will get everyone drenched, or just want something different to suit your Stag Party mix, then we can provide outdoor activity sessions just for you. We can also incorporate a number of activities within your stag party session so that you get a full on day or two of high octane excitement.
During your stag party activities we will be taking photos and videos of you and your friends and will then send you all the pictures after the event so that you can relive those moments again and again. If you want to bring your own cameras or go-pro's etc. you can do so but it will be entirely at your own risk.
Don't forget, we run our outdoor activities for stag groups at any time of the year although we would advise only doing reasonably dry activities during the really cold months (Dec - March) although some gorge walks and some canoeing can be done. You can have a magical experience canoeing or kayaking down the river on a frosty or snowy day and have the river to just yourselves and the wildlife. So if you want to experience the most exciting and rewarding stag party activities in England or Wales then contact me for a quote for you and your stag party. I offer discounts for large groups and can arrange transport to and from the outdoor activities and your accommodation if you have not already got it organised
Just wanted to say thank you very much for a spectacular day, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and want to go again immediately! What topped it off was the fact that you're quite obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about the activities and you take a true interest in teaching others your knowledge and skills - it really was a fantastic experience that has left me hungry for more!

Great stag do!
From the start Michael was a great help, helping me to arrange a day of activities and answering the numerous questions that I had along the way! He always came back to me quickly and worked up a full plan for the day. On the day Michael was very chipper and upbeat which was definitely needed given how we were feeling from the night before! We did canoeing and rock climbing and I would definitely recommend Michael if you're looking to do some activities in the Herefordshire area.

Brilliant day out with the lads
What a brilliant experience, one event, one place and so much for everyone. First timers and experienced members all praised the abseil. Michael was brilliant as well, striking a perfect balance between instruction and Fun. Thank you so much, perfect for the stag!! Look forward to seeing the photos. Thanks again for a fantastic morning at such short notice!
James and Friends - Aug 2016
Thanks for an awesome day, we really enjoyed the canoeing especially getting through the rapids in one piece and the abseiling was great in the morning as well. I would thouroughly recomment going canoeing with this company.

Exhilarating, fast paced and fun, the gorge walk provided a great team bonding exercise and, despite some tricky challenges, the course is accessible to anyone who is up for a bit of fun! Professionally organised, resourced and instructed and very competitively priced, Life Changing Activities comes highly recommended by all 12 of our stag party!

A brilliant day's gorge walking and abseiling with Michael. He helped everyone master the 58-foot abseil, suggested we break the day up with a tasty pub lunch nearby, then led us over rocks, under logs, and up waterfalls on an exciting gorge walk. Highly recommended!

We booked some gorge walking for a friends Stag party. There were 18 of us and everyone of us loved it. Michael and his team organised a great day out for us. Our original destination had to be changed due to high river levels but where Michael took us to was absolutely perfect. We started by abseiling 80ft off a bridge down into the gorge which was amazing. Then we had a great adventure making our way up through the fast flowing gorge and climbing up waterfalls! All in all it was a great day out and Michael was the perfect guide to get us through it. Highly recommend it to all.

We had an awesome day with Michael, first abseiling then gorge-walking. Michael really knows his stuff and struck the perfect balance of giving coaching where required but also letting us do our own thing as appropriate. Several of our group were inexperienced in this sort of activity, but Michael made sure everybody enjoyed the day and got a lot out of it. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Tom - Gloucestershire
We went abseiling and gorge walking with Michael and it was a top day out. He was very laid back - this was our day and he was happy to let us make the plan, so we did the abseiling at 10.30, then had a break for a pub lunch, then gorge walking in the afternoon. The abseiling was a pretty scary 58-foot drop from an impressive bridge. A few in the group were less than sure they wanted to do it, but Michael talked them through it and everyone managed it. Great views of the valleys on the way down!
Then the gorge walking was a series of obstacles upstream like sliding under logs and scaling waterfalls. Really cool stuff - pretty tiring and very satisfying. Enjoyed by all!
Michael was a great guide and coach and made it an excellent day in the valleys.

Michael and the crew took us to one of his few favourite gorges in Wales... one of the more extreme. Impressed with their local knowledge and experience in the area, going back decades. Lots of gear making it safe and warm, part of the many pleasant surprises which made the activity so enjoyable. The descents down waterfalls were really exhilarating, however the instructors always made us feel fully at ease with all the safety aspects (taking us through these methodically), especially with our large and varied group. The crew was a lot of fun as well, chatting as we climbed to the top and allowing us all feel taken care of coming down. It can be hard to find recommendations for this type of activity, at least one which isn't at a designated climbing/activity centre, so I thoroughly recommend these guys... Enthusiastic, professional and fun.
